We were founded in 2002 by Vlad Kozak who now heads Verde in Partnership with John Fothergill. Vlad has had a longstanding relationship with Greentree since he became one of the founding shareholders and directors of Greentree International in 1997. In the 4 years from 1997, Vlad led the re-establishment of the New Zealand *CBA dealer network.

He played a key role in the design and development of Greentree and spent a lot of time on the road spreading the word, earning him the title "Greentree evangelist". He was responsible for many of the key features that today differentiate Greentree software from its competitors.

Looking for a new challenge Vlad left Greentree in 2002 to establish Verde as a Greentree business partner with the ability to provide customised business solutions. Since that time Verde has grown to become the largest Greentree dealer in New Zealand, supporting more than 80 clients with a team of 26.

Vlad has over 17 years experience in the accounting software industry, in senior management, sales, project management and programming roles working for CBA/Greentree, Oracle Corporation and Epicor Software Corporation. With a thorough technical background and strong business experience, Vlad combines his understanding of the need to extract critical business information with a working knowledge of the best way to tailor the product to provide that information.

In 2005 John Fothergill became the other half of the Verde directorship. John is now leading the establishment of the MYOB EXO Business practice at Verde and he is committed to delivering a high quality product, exceptionally high service levels and innovative solutions to client needs. John’s extensive experience at using and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is crucial to Verde’s success in providing excellent customer solutions.

This experience includes 5 ½ years at Oracle Corporation as a consultant, project manager and Practice Manager of the Applications Consulting group and 5 years as a Sales Executive and Sales Manager with Intentia ANZ.

Together John and Vlad are leading the growth and development of Verde as it expands into new markets and grows as an organisation in response to customer needs.
